Their student mentorship program helped me adjust faster and stay connected to my roots. I’ll always be grateful for that support

When I faced a medical emergency last year, the Union immediately stepped in to help. They organized contributions, followed up at the hospital, and made sure I wasn’t alone. That moment showed me what true community means. This organization genuinely cares about every Ugandan in Malaysia.

Through the Union’s business network, I was able to connect with other African entrepreneurs and even secure partnerships with Malaysian suppliers. The UUM has created a platform for Ugandans to grow professionally while maintaining strong community bonds

The Union not only unites Ugandans but also builds bridges between Ugandans and Malaysians. Their cultural exchange events have promoted understanding and appreciation between our nations. It’s a remarkable example of diplomacy through community.

The Union of Ugandans in Malaysia is more than an organization — it’s a movement of unity. It represents the true spirit of Ubuntu. I’ve seen how our members support each other, advocate for student rights, and represent Uganda proudly in Malaysia. Being part of this Union has been one of my proudest experiences.
